Maryam Moghadam - Wild Horses

acrylic on canvas

"Maryam Moghadam Was born in 1984 in Tehran, Iran. Powerful, beautiful, and symbolic, horse intrinsic qualities of gentleness and wildness inspire me, Wild horses Is a reflection of the mother nature . I don’t paint horses; I paint the way they make me feel. There is more to a horse than just a “picture” of him; there is a mythology, a symbolism, an ancient connection we can trace. Horses are Big energy, and that is what I paint.

Richard Higgins - Silent Running

photography

As a Wildlife Biologist and Nature & Wildlife Photographer now living in Northwest Florida. Over the years I've had the opportunity to travel around North America and photograph the natural beauty around us. To be in the untamed wilderness place that is untouched by humans, where animals are free to roam and behave as their ancestors have since the beginning of life, makes me feel like I have been transported in time to some strange and unknown world. At such times, I start focusing my camera in the hope I will be able to catch this splendid beauty in the "one moment in time".

Nick Dale - Adelie penguin jumping between two ice floes

photo print on metal

"I have a passion for wildlife, and I want to celebrate all its facets in my photography, including power, beauty, cuteness and humour. These are the qualities I want to share with people. I’m not a conservationist, so I don’t take pictures of endangered animals to put on a poster for Greenpeace or Friends of the Earth - I take them because I love my close encounters with the natural world, and I want to share the excitement and joy of being there. I obviously recognise the threat to certain species posed by poachers and diminishing habitats, and I hope that my images will give people more of an appreciation for wildlife, but what they choose to do with that is up to them."
