Laurie Snow Hein - Crystal Wave

oil

Working 30 years as a licensed artist, illustrator, and shows at the top art festival circuits, Laurie Snow Hein also taught workshops around the country and in Europe. Many awards have accumulated over the years, but it is the joy of teaching, the enthusiasm of her students and clients that is most meaningful. Laurie is an accomplished portrait artist, also well known for Florida landscapes, beaches, oceans, botanicals, and birds. Laurie is an avid traveler who sees the world through her artistic eye. She went on a solo cross-country road trip, white water rafting down the Colorado River, and recently returned from an African Safari. On her trips she creates plein air paintings or takes photographs of this beautiful world to create stunning oil paintings from her experiences. Enjoy her art on her website: www.lauriesnowhein.com or Fine Art America, where you can purchase her work directly. Follow her art and videos on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest. Artist Statement The mystique and natural beauty of Florida are the elements that inspire me to bring a canvas to life by capturing a special time of day that is magical. Painting the raw splendor and energy of Florida’s natural environment allows me as an artist to introduce the observer of my artwork to the wonderment I feel when observing God’s craftsmanship. By creating a painting of clouds, ocean, landscape, or birds unique to Florida on canvas, I can bring to life the light and inspiration that makes my work and spirit come alive with beauty, color, emotion. This passion is driven by the desire to create realistic expressions depicting the divine majesty of God’s creations often found only a short drive civilization. I paint this tropical paradise to bring it back home for others to savor and enjoy. Laurie’s website is www.laurieheinartist.com.

Ilse Taylor Hable - Into the Blue

oil - 100 x 100 x 5 cm

I have a great passion for nature, and a great affection for color. I love painting en plein air and look for interesting compositions as well as compelling visual beauty, and try to respond to what moves me emotionally, when I chose the subjects for my paintings. The kind of beauty I seek can be found almost anywhere, it is my task to be receptive enough to find it. I intend to keep on learning and improving, while continuing my current explorations of immediacy, complementary tonalities, simplification of detail, and of course my fascination with the ever-changing qualities of light and shade.

Bonnie Rosenstock - The Blue Lagoon

I am a water sign and live up to that name. I love to be around all bodies of water, contemplate it, swim in it, drink it in and photograph it. My photography has taken me to all places, near and far. I love taking photos of nature and cityscapes. I have won numerous photography awards as well as four journalism awards (NY Press Association). I have participated in many group shows, and my photographs have also accompanied my articles. I'll drink to that!
